Excessive De-Matting:
The removal of excessive matting can be very painful for your dog. Our groomers will not de-matt excessively matted dogs. If we cannot brush out the matting easily we will inform you that we will have to remove the matted coat.
Handling Fee:
Our handling fee reflects the extra time an possibly the extra groomer required to deal with uncooperative or excessively wiggly dogs and cats. Our goal is to make the grooming experience as safe and relaxing as possible for your pet and sometimes it takes an extra pair of hands to make that happen. Fearful of aggressive dogs may require a muzzle for part of the grooming process. This ensures the dogs don’t bite the equipment, injuring themselves, or biting us.
Flea Shampoo:
It is important to let us know if you suspect that your dog or cat may have fleas and whether or not your pet is on any topical flea treatment. Any dog or cat that we discover fleas on is immediately placed in a flea shampoo to ensure the fleas are not spread around our salon. We will contact you immediately to inform you of the change that may result in your quoted grooming time. All flea treatments are an additional $40 fee.
